Halloween

Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31st. It is commonly associated with costumes, trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, and general spookiness.

Did you know that it used to be called All Hallows Eve, as it comes on the day before All Hallows, which is also known as All Saints' Day.

Closer to home, we have some popular Halloween celebrations here in California. In fact, National Geographic featured the South California's Halloween Harvest Festival and Hollywood's Halloween Carnaval among its "10 great Halloween celebrations in the U.S."

Whether you're planning a party for the kids or one to celebrate in the office, my Halloween-themed articles below may help.

Are you thinking about planning a company Halloween party that your employees will talk about for days and remember for years to come? Set up a dance floor, hang a disco ball, hire a DJ, and let your employees feel the groove throughout the night. Tip #2: Ghostly Decorations Prepare your office for the upcoming party by decorating the place with props like pumpkins, banners, ghosts, witches and spider webs. Encourage your employees to take part and have fun by turning it into a contest and giving a prize to the department with the best decoration. Tip #3: Halloween-themed Food What’s a party without the food? Make your office Halloween party more memorable with some Halloween-y food, such as: Mummy Hotdogs — Get some ready-made croissant dough. Flatten the pieces further with a rolling pin, and wrap them around hotdogs to resemble mummies. Bake and enjoy an artifact food. … [Read more...]
